The frame and mounting plate are constructed from 100% stainless steel for durability and added strength. Use the wall cover on the mounting plate when the seat is removed. The seat is soft, comfortable, and has a textured finish to prevent that 'slipping' feeling.
This Ponte Giulio HUG folding and removable shower seat is also ideal for existing bathrooms; The mounting plate is designed to line up to existing 16 on center studs. This means no opening walls or new construction to mount this safe and beautiful shower seat!
The load capacity has been tested for use up to 330 pounds, exceeding ADA load capacity requirements. Installation hardware for wood stud installation is included with purchase.
